I have always been a risk taker. Just go for it! is my motto. Some risks have proven to be well worth it, others I can chalk up as valuable experiences and can honestly say no harm, no foul. Since becoming a mother I have slowed down a lot in this area:) Providing a stable environment is top priority for me so I tend not to ever risk take when it may compromise this at all. My kids are risk takers too and have learned the value of learning natural consequences for their actions. Thankfully they have did this in a sane way. No one has tried to run across the street to race a car coming towards them. I am talking about healthy risk taking. The risk taking they do when they do a project by following their own directions and ditching the one that may have came with a project kit.
My latest risk taking endeavor is mainly a quick decision that was made when I got a vision and couldn't put it to rest. Lots of inspiration came from visiting my favorite blogs. I guess I can blame it on you guys if it fails(just kidding:) Really this homeschool thing has gone to a higher level in our house and we are just about to go public with it and share our way of learning with other children in the community. My mantra will forever be " Follow the child"-Marie Montessori
Here is a sneak peek at my latest most insane risk taking move I have ever done!
