Apprenticeship: Following Ken's Interest

If you been following this blog for awhile then you know that Ken is interested in becoming a hairstylist/salon owner one day. During her work period one day she word processed a formal letter to one of the parents' whose child attends my preschool. In the letter she asked if she had an apprenticeship program and if so could she work under her. Ken was full of joy when she received her acceptance letter.

Today was Ken's first day at work!! 

 Ken's highlights of the day were assisting with a Princess Party and......

 Learning about designing nails.       

I was thrilled about how she took care to look professional and modeled professional behavior. Don't you just love it when others' support your home school? This apprenticeship could never have taken place if it wasn't for another parents' help. Thank you so much!!!
